Posy & Flute is a family-owned business, run by mother and son founders, Sue and Ty. Sue has an innate creativity, an eye for detail, and a flair for flowers, art and events that drew her into floristry.
The Requirement
Posy and Flute wanted to move their website from Squarespace to Shopify to take advantage of additional features and functionality the Shopify platform offers. At the same time, they wanted a fresh website design to showcase their Flower and Gifting business.
Our Solution
We developed a Custom Shopify store, installed, configured and customised apps to provide the functionality required – particularly around complex shipping rules. We also developed custom code required to restrict the sale of alcohol products. We had a tight timeline to work to as the site needed to be live by Valentine’s Day – the busiest time of the year for the client!
We also had to import content and orders from Squarespace to Shopify and manage all of the site redirects to maintain Google rankings.
The OUTCOME
Delivered the site in time for Valentine Day Sales. Continue to provide ongoing support to optimise the site based on user experience and client functionality requirements.
